Ventzel The influence of uniform pressure of about 1000 atmospheres on the oscillation of the mag" netic susceptibility of bismuth in a magnetic field up to 13 kOe has been investigated at 4.2°— 1.6° K. The character of variation of the effective mass tensor, Fermi boundary energy Eo, Dingle factor and electron concentration have been estimated with the Landau formula. Assumptions regarding the nature of the electron energy spectrum in bismuth are made.
